Welcome to Guadalajara de Buga, one of the oldest towns in Colombia, located near Cali. It was founded in 1555 by Spanish conquistador Sebastian de Belalcázar. Buga is interesting in terms of architecture and historical value, it´s considered "Patrimonio Nacional."

For those wishing to experience an off the beaten path area in Colombia – few foreigners, several activities and natural reserves to be explored – the Buga Hostel is a great base to be, as well as a great source of information.

Every morning we bake our signature, homemade sourdough bread in order to create the various sandwich/pizza options in our menu.

In the Holy Water Ale Brewery we produce nine different craft beers. The brewery is located a few blocks away from the hostel-cafe. Sign up for a tour in which you can learn about the process, then try the beers for yourself.
